    My son erased something off the xbox 360 now we cant play games or dvd's nothing loads at all? Can I re-load the firm ware ?

    Error with the regional code for dvd

    Nothing can be done.If the dvd's region is different than your consoles region then it wont play.

    Hey there midnight!

    Hmm in light of your console also not ejecting discs, it sounds like there may be some disc drive issues happening. I would recommend a full

    factory reset     of your console. There are two options but in your case, I would pick the option that erases everything to give your console the best shot at a fresh start. If that doesn't help, your console may be in need of repairs. If you'd like to explore
    that, you can do so at the
    Online Service Center    .

    The problem is most likely your Xbox 360 that is the problem.

    The 360 has no mods. I bought the harddrive from gamestop. A friend of mine brought over some games to see if it was just the harry potter game that was messing up. Unfortunetly the 360 won't play any games. Sometimes it won't read a game but will pop
    up as a DVD. I deleted the upgrade just make sure if the upgrade was faulty but that didn't work either. Do I just need to send it to Microsoft and see what they can do?

    Could you try another game at all just to confirm that it isn't just that particular disc causing the issue.

    I also forgot to mention make sure that the company that repairs it(if you choose too) is a legit company try and google the company to see if there are any complaints to make sure they dont steals it or anything.
