Games downloading past 100%. Help?

Hi there looking for some support on an issue I’ve been having. I’ve tried downloading a few games that are quite big in size and take me quite the time to download. My problem is that they’ll reach 100% and keep downloading over their actual size. I had a 14gb update too that ended up going to 65gb and just never downloaded. I’ve now uninstalled 3 different games various times and varying in sizes that will take ages for me to download again and I’m quite frustrated by this. I’ve tried a factory reset, that didn’t work. Tried pausing the games and resetting my internet, that didn’t work, I’ve tried numerous things and nothing seems to work. I’m quite displeased by this as it will take me a long time again to download these games, games I should already be playing that I’ve bought. Any help to find a resolution to this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Are you trying to install these games on your Xbox internal storage or external hard drive?

If it's on your External hard drive, kindly try to install these games on your Xbox Internal Storage then unplug the external hard drive.

If there is no External hard drive the best option is resetting the console removing everything.

This happened with halo 5 for me. Went to play it after a couple days away and I couldn't play. Update was well in the thousands %. Had to uninstall then reinstall, so I didn't get to play halo. And now today the same thing has happened with the fallout
4 update. This is a HUUUGE pain in the ***...... Looks like I'm waiting to download the whole game again. This issue seriously needs to be fixed!!

Hi I believe Microsoft are aware of this issue and investigating and that as long as you don't get an errors the download will still complete even though it's showing above 100% downloaded.

GTA 2,900%. Can I have my money back for a PS4 please microsoft. Black Ops 3 now at 115% and climbing. Star Wars Battlefront 396% and rising. All unplayable. XBox one currently not fit for purpose.
