Games download storage

Additional information is needed, please tell me:

Is this happening on Windows 10 or 11?
Do you know when this started to happen?
I mean, do you know if your system or an app received an update recently?
And tell me briefly what did you tried so far to fix this

This is to avoid giving you the same troubleshooting steps

So it's happening on Windows 11

It started to happens after i tried to solve another problem (launching games) so i did this ( https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...inecraft/07d08934-cb98-457a-82d3-f755c6f84a77 ) just after i finished this trying it i had this problem (and my games did not even launch...)

So i tried do to unistall it and dowload it again, i tried to go in WindowsApps and on PowerShell to see what's i can do but i found nothing...

I hope all this informations could help you to see what's going on here !

Thank you, let’s try to isolate the problem a bit more. For this try:

A. Go to Windows settings > system > storage > advance storage options > where new content is saved
Under apps select one of the desired drives (make sure that the drive is formatted as NTFS)
Once selected try downloading an app or game from the Microsoft store (if it’s loading). If the app or game downloads, restart the PC and verify the Xbox app

B. Do a clean boot in your PC and try again

C. Create a new local administrator user in your PC and try from there

D. Can be a bit odd but:
Open the Control Panel in Windows.
After opening the control panel, set the “View by” on the top-right corner to “Large icons“.
Click on the “Network and Sharing Center” option.
Here, click on the “Change adapter settings” link on the left panel.
Now, right-click on the active network adapter and select “Properties“.
Go to the “Networking” tab.
Here, uncheck the “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” option.
Click on the “Ok” button to save changes.
Then close all the windows, restart your PC and try again

Maxen13 is correct. You do need to download the game to a singular storage device. you cannot use two storage devices to download something.

Do you have another storage device you could download the game to? Could be an issue with the storage you are using.

Do you have enough room on your storage to download all of the game?

Also try setting the download going and turning off your console and letting it download in standby mode. I know some have had luck getting downloads to complete this way.
