    Games Crashing When YouTube App Does Not Open Fully


    This problem has been happening for many months, but I was only able to identify now how to replicate it and how to solve it: If the user does not wait for youtube to fully open and already tries to open a game, the games do not start (crashing). This problem often occurred to me when I accessed the card that opened youtube within microsoft rewards, and I had never been able to identify the cause. Finally identified. To solve the problem, the user can do it in 3 ways:

    1 restart the console, or 2 kill the youtube process (end button on the menu), or 3 wait for youtube application to open completely.

    This is an important issue to resolve as less experienced users will not be able to identify this, they will think it is a defect in the console. Note: I don't know if other apps have the same problem, but youtube is sure to happen.

    Taking the opportunity to clear a doubt: I reported this same bug directly to the console. Is the development team more likely to see issues reported in the insider's console app? or here on reddit?

    Oh I understand what you mean. However I never let 2 apps open at the same time. When i open a game i close apps that were open previously through the start menu.

    My connection crashes either way even if I haven't opened the youtube app that session.
