    Games crashing upon entry / at set times.


    I've been having problems with my games crashing, it seems that whenever i get to a certain point they just close, and there hasn't been any error message that would usually pop up on the screen, the games im having these issues with are: Grand theft auto
    5 and Fortnite Battle Royale.

    Hey there MellowTimesYo!

    Sorry to hear about the crashing issue! If you haven't already, I suggest trying a few troubleshooting steps:

    • From the Home screen of your Xbox One console, navigate to My Games & Apps
    • Under the Games tab, select Gears of War 2 and press the Menu button.
    • Select Manage Game and highlight Gears of War 2.
    • Press the Menu button again and then select Uninstall.
    • Once the game has uninstalled, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • After your console has powered off, wait a few minutes and then power on your console.
    • Navigate back to My Games and Apps and scroll to the right.
    • Select Gears of War 2 in the "Ready to Install" section and press the A button.
    • Select Install and after the game has installed, try launching it to see if the issue continues.

    Game keeps crashing upon loading

    I'm trying to play Gears Of War 2 on my Xbox one and every time i try to load my profile it causes the game to freeze and kicks me back to home screen. this is a down loaded game and is linked to my husbands account and we played for weeks before this started
    to happen. he as me add in the family so i should be able to play it without problems. I've been thought all trouble shooting steps with support and problem keeps occurring.

    Hello!

    A powercycle might be your best option, hold power button for 10 seconds until console turns off and then unplug for 10 seconds. After that fire it back up and try it out.

    1- Try to reset the xbox and see if so when you start update the status of the game

    2- Go to manage game data and check that it is installed or pending installation.

    3- Uninstall the game and restart the xbox

    4-Install the games and then install all the updates, be careful not to install any updates before the game

    Constant crashes of Division 2 on Xbox One X

    Last night, at my wit's end, I completely wiped my Xbox. I reformatted the external drive, I made sure nothing was on the internal drive and I did a factory reset, erasing all games and data. Upon going through the Xbox first-time setup again, I chose
    not to import any settings. I then re-installed the game (digital download).

    Upon trying to restart the game, I crashed 9 times. On the 10th time, as the game should have finished loading, the screen went dark and the Xbox powered itself off.

    As I write this, after restarting, I have crashed another 7 times and have been unable to get into a game session at all.

    NAT type is open.

    I tried out hotspot and loaded up a game, and it crashed upon starting up and tried a second time, and it only lasted about a minute and a half before crashing.

    I have uploaded severalvideos about the game crashing in my Xbox profile . And I was told every time a Xbox crashes Microsoft gets a report automatically sent to them upon restart .

    But yes next time I will send a detailed report but sadly I am certain 343 knows exactly what is wrong with the game .

    We are also getting this issue with the Oral B commercial...It's bad enough having to set through it once, but then it closes the app, and wants to run the Oral B ad again upon re-entry! I would have thought Microsoft would have fixed this by now!
