    Games crash when joining online servers


    I’ve been dealing with frustrating issue for the past month, and I’m hoping someone here might have insight or a fix.

    The problem:

    No matter what game I play, my PC crashes when I try to join online servers or multiplayer matches. All the games launch normally, and the menus work without issue - but as soon as I join a match or server (in some cases after 1–2 attempts), the game crashes. This happens across multiple titles like:

    • Counter-Strike 2
    • World of Tanks
    • Minecraft (Java Edition)
    • Fortnite
    What happens:

    • Screen goes black and the PC turns off or crashes to desktop.
    • No BSOD.
    • Sometimes I see a “disconnect” icon or lag right before the crash.
    What I´ve tried:

    • Reinstalled all games and launchers.
    • Clean reinstallation of Windows 11.
    • Used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to reinstall multiple GPU driver versions (both latest and older).
      • Checked system health:
      • MemTest86 for RAM — no errors.
      • SSD health — no issues.
    • updated drivers.
    • Monitored temperatures — all normal.
    • Disabled unnecessary background apps.
    Specs:

    • Intel Core i5-10400f
    • NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti
    • ASUS Prime H510M-A R2.0
    • Windows 11
    I'm completely stumped - if anyone has experienced anything like it or knows of any system-level issue that would cause this, I would really appreciate your help.

    Ark Doesn't let my xbox friend join my pc server.

    So my friend, who is on Xbox, checked his nat at the time when we were having problems. his NAT shows open and he can join random servers online. I can join random servers online. I can join a game when he hosts. But he is unable to join me when I host.

    Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



    Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



    1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

    Solution 2: Check for any pending game updates.



    Go to “My Apps & Games”, select Minecraft, and press the more options button. From the list, select “Manage game & add-ons” and then “Updates”. Any updates will be available here.

    Solution 3: Try setting up manual DNS settings.

    1. Please go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings >> manual

    2. Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222

    3. Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220

    Solution 4: Try to uninstall and reinstall the game.

    But it can't just be EA's servers, my friends were online in a head to head match and were talking about it in our party and when I tried to join an online game at the exact same time the game said "EA's servers are unavailable"

    Don't even worry about trying to get online lol. On Xbox One, all usable servers have 5+ people in a queue... at all times. Then you scroll through all the empty servers and try to join them... cant connect. If you are lucky enough to get into a game, then
    there are network issues and the experience of a broken game. Also, you will surely crash or disconnect from a server because the game is so unstable.

    TL:DR: Game is a joke, trade in while you can or wait 6 months for a fix.
