    Is any one having issues with their screens being washed out while in a game? I can go to the dashboard and it looks fine, but as soon as I launch a game its washed out. I'm in the alpha version of the preview program. I've also noticed that the HDR doesn't seem to be turning on when I launch games.

    Under settings the console says it has HDR available. Recording things via the console doesn't properly show the issue I'm experiencing.

    System-wide video bug.

    They updated some of the applications.They updated Zune and now my game trailers aren't washed out anymore and also Youtube. I think they are updating the apps because of the next dashboard update.

    Xbox Oe X Scorpio HDR Washed Out

    I think it must be a bug with the Xbox apps. My Netflix and 4k UHD discs used to look great. Now they are looking washed out on the S and X.

    I have a 1080p 144hz monitor, when it is set to 120fps then the colours looks washed out, on 60fps it looks fine. I only play Warzone on 120fps but have to set it to 120fps before launching the game and it makes the colours look washed out. Frustrating as the game does not give me the 120fps mode if not set on the Xbox and like I said it makes the colours look washed out

    Hi MellllvinHot12,

    Are you using the public build of the dashboard or are you enrolled for system updates via the Xbox Insider Hub app? If you are enrolled as an Insider then you may want to report as a possible bug.

    If you are using the standard dashboard build have you tried closing apps and games not in use and seeing if that makes
    a difference.

    Hdr washed out colors and dimmer during hdr content

    Hi,

    I have a LG OLED65B7V (2017 model) and this is driving me nutz : 4K HDR is enabled and all the indicators are green from xbox video settings.

    - On Netflix TV app the HDR is working perfectly : HDR videos do have real blacks, they are not washed out at all (tested on marvel defenders)

    - On Xbox One S Netflix app : the same video is washed out in HDR (non HDR videos are fine AFAIK). It can be easily seen on intermediate black pictures which are gray

    - But most of all (because I can handle using netflix TV app) the bluray 4K are washed out and I have no solution to this except to reduce the brightness from TV settings. Regular blurays are fine. Tested with Wonder woman 4K bluray

    This is weird because it seemed to me that HDR was working fine at first on xbox one s. I tried a factory reset with no luck.

    I also tried to connect the TV directly to the Xbox instead of the receiver, tried PC RGB instead of limited range...

    I am out of ideas...
