Games/apps 'taking too long to load' Plus downloads stopping

So I've had this happening to me for the last 2/3 weeks now.

About twice a day, sometimes more, my updates/game downloads will just suddenly halt. They won't say 'stopped', or 'pending', or 'queued'. the download speed just drops to zero. When this happens, I am also unable to launch and games or apps. I get the xbox
0x8027025a code stating the game took too long to load. Usually I have to perform a reset on the console (hold the power button down) leave it for about half an hour and it will work again for about 2-3 hours before it does it again.

any help guys?

There are some issues of this type in preview program also games taking too long and failing to load same with apps.

try taking the game back to the shop or try installing the game offline that might go a bit quicker

I'm having the same issue right now. I do the hard reset, that usually fixes for a little bit.

I'm sorry to hear that. Here are the steps that you can try for your concern before trying a reset.

Solution 1. Do you have an external hard drive plugged in to the console right now?

If yes, can you unplug it and Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

Once done, please check if the issue still persist while the external hard drive is unplugged.

Solution 2. I know your internet is working fine with other devices but for us to best isolate the issue, can you try connecting the console to a different network? A mobile hotspot for example?

Solution 3. Try to do a soft factory reset without removing any games and apps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings > System > Console info > reset then keep my games and apps.

NOTE: This will delete the profiles on your account, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.
