Games and microphone reccording problem

Hello , i hope you are fine .

can you help me please ? when i'm reccording while playing my games on my PC the sound of my voice aren't saved in the video .... it's like i'm not talking at all ! But every other sounds made by the PC are in the video ...

I tried to reccord the clip when i'm not playing any games , like i reccorded a video filming the WIN10 desktop and my voice got saved in the clip but when i launch the game without touching the settings , it doesnt work !

i tried with steam games , GOG games , EPIC games and i can catch the video clip of my games but i cannot reccord my voice in them while i'm playing

would you please help me find a solution ?

Hi Iman976,

Since this is happening with games bought and used from different platforms, there may be a PC setting that is causing this to happen. There's a possible setting where you have to turn on the microphone to record voice in your videos.

Go ahead and follow this guide to set up your headset microphone or any other microphone you use:

On the Game bar, go ahead and toggle the microphone mute button on and off when recording a video to test it out.

Dark Souls actually soved that problem by adding in the bonfires. They are all over, and ex out your problems. And you shouldnt travel THAT far from one anyways, your asking to be killed and do everything over.

For the reccord, both games are AWESOME. I beat DS, and am now on Skyrim and love it! Dovakiin!

After investigating further via the audio playback tool in the sound control panel. the problem is my blue Yeti Microphone. using a different microphone the problem completely disappeared.

But I'd really like to use my Blue Yeti Microphone as the quality is simply better. if you would know, Is there why in some game scenarios specifically games that are more demanding why a microphone's quality would drop or suddenly cut out?

No i dont have the problem on any other microphone so now im using earphones until i get a new one. I think ive just broke the actaul microphone

I do think the problem is your microphone.

Username1987, can you try your Microphone on other games or other apps directly on your computer to make sure that the problem comes from the Microphone?
