    Games and Internet Explorer won't load


    I have three games, FIFA 14, Forza 5 and Battlefield 4. Forza is on a disc, the other two are on the xbox (one). When I try to play these games they load but when I get to the start menu (like "press A to start"), the games just won't load. What makes it
    weirder is that earlier they loaded fine. Also I can't load Internet Explorer.

    I have also tried restarting my Xbox but no change. I don't get any error messages or codes. The games just don't load.

    Any solutions?

    Thanks for all your guidance, here’s where I am now. I am subscribed to Gold. I am trying to load explorer on my xbox using my account, I have never run Explorer on it before.

    I deleted all files relating to explorer and the cache.

    I downloaded my game tag again then tried to download Explorer – its seems to download fine but then freezes when I try to run it. This to the Hard drive.

    I the formatted a new external device ( Seagate hard disc) via USB.

    I went through the same process of deleting everything reloading gametag the downloaded Explorer to the USB device, Exactly the same result – downloads ok by freezes when I try to run it.

    Hi WellMicrobe237! Just to verify, you've tried installing to a different storage device, such as a USB Flash Drive, as well? If so - what type of device did you try? Just wanting to make sure we have the basics covered Games and Internet Explorer won't load :)

    Now it's saying there is something wrong with my kinect sensor. It is plugged in and was working without the hint of any problems before.

    And now Youtube has stopped working.

    What's going on?

    Were you able to figure out the game problem? I am now having a similar issue. They will load all the way up til just before the game menu. No error message or anything. Just wont load.

    Wow...a lot of issues here.

    First off, I would try standard troubleshooting. Clear the persistent storage, perform a hard reset. If that doesn't work, try uninstall the games, restart the console, reinstall at least one of the games to see if that helps

    If that doesn't work at that point, you might want to restore your console to factory defaults. This should fix up the issues...except for the Kinect. If the Kinect is still not showing plugged in, that means that the Kinect has gone defective and needs
    to be set up for a repair.

    Please let me know what happens if you are still having issues, or need help with some of the troubleshooting steps

    Internet explorer not working on the xbox 360

    internet explorer is so old now that most sites do not support it and therefore it won't load anything, IE is now abandoned software and gets no updates, it is also insecure.

    If you are using Firefox then your clips won't load or if they do there will load slowly. For some reason some Microsoft stuff and Firefox don't mix to well. Use another browser. Chrome seems to load the videos fine as well as Safari. I don't know how well
    Internet Explorer will work because I am on a Mac.

    Cannot edit avatar in Windows 8.1

    Do a search for microsoft silverlight and download the plugin for web browser firefox or internet explorer. I used the firefox browser. Then sign in to xbox.com. Click change avatar and it will let you do it. It won't ask to open games app after silverlight
    is loaded. You will see the avatar menu open.
