Games and apps taking too long to start

Hello,

for the last couple of days every time i try to switch from one game or app to another I get a message saying that it took too long to start. After that i cannot get any games or apps to start and i have to power cycle my xbox. Someone on the help chat told
me to remove and replace my profile from my xbox and that helped for awhile. that was yesterday and im already having the same problem again. So i removed and replaced my profile from my xbox. This did not solve the issue. So i went back to the chat and someone
told me to reset my console. I did that and still am having the same problem. It is hands down the worst user experience i have had with xbox and i cant even get anyone on the phone to ask about it and the only chat is robots and other “gamers”. Where is my
support? Do i have to just keep endlessly power cycling every time i want to switch games? Please help.

Hello,

so that did not work. And now i have deleted all my saved files and i cant get any games or apps to load at all. Not digital, not disc and not even after power cycling. Would really like a viable solution to this or for someone from microsoft to contact
me as soon as possible seeing as ive been a loyal customer for over 10 years and i essentially now have a $400 brick on my tv stand with their name on it.

Hi ReggieTheLemur,

I'm sorry that you're experiencing so many problems.

Could I ask if you've tried the following perhaps?

Change your alternate mac port

- xbox button

- settings

- general

- network settings

- advanced settings

- alternate port selection

- automatic

then press b and select alternate MAC address and restart console

- Clearing all cache manually

- xbox home button

- settings

- system

- storage

- clear local saved games

The next initial load will take longer as the game will need to sync.

The only other problem I can think of is that it could be network related but this should only be applicable for online games then.

I have not tried that! Ill give that a try. Tge problem is the same for disc games as well though.
