    Games always say "Can't download" after a while


    Almost every single game I download, whether I buy it or it's one of the Games With Gold freebies, just ends up saying "Can't download" anywhere between 0-99%.

    OR, whenever I go into an online game, it pauses the download like it's supposed to do but then in the middle of the game the "Can't download" notification still pops up.

    My connection is Wi-Fi, between 150-300KB/s depending on who's using the internet but that should only slow the download, there's absolutely no reason whatsoever it would cancel it.

    All region/area settings are U.S.

    I've cleared the cache literally a thousand times after it fails, along with deleting the "Incomplete" download.

    My hard drive has 40GB left.

    NAT type is Moderate and can't be changed but I'm pretty sure that doesn't matter for downloads.

    There are never any interruptions when playing games online so there's no reason there would be any interruptions during a game download either.

    What is going on?

    while downloading the game you will be asked to update the game.

    ALWAYS answer this with NO during the installation process.

    After the download is finished start the game and update it then.

    That does happen after a while. That's why you should always attempt the download from your download history.

    Hello, Ibrahim A. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee you that pausing the download that amount of times will not corrupt or cause other inconvenience with the previously downloaded data.

    This can't be guaranteed because as the Murphy's law says: “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”. So, while typically, you shouldn't have any issues Pausing and resuming a download, the chance of an unexpected downloaded progress reset will always be there.

    I am having a similar issue, I have tried clearing the cache, deleting the previous download etc etc but the difference I have is that the download gets to 8% and stops, after a while it then says it can't be downloaded.
