    Gamertags not updating fluidly across devices


    Paid $20 for new gamertags on my husband's account along with mine and I am still seeing both old tags on certain devices. For instance, on PC on my profile it shows both old gamertags on the Xbox game bar (him being my friend on there, shows old tag). If anyone knows how to fix this issue please let me know! We both didn't like our old tags very much so I'm hoping this can be fixed easily.

    Try logging out of accounts that are logged into the devices that are experiencing this issue. Also make sure all updates are installed.

    Keep in mind that gamertag changes may not be reflected instantly, and may take some time to update and be relected across Microsoft services and devices.

    You can try restarting your device and see if that helps.

    Yes, you can use the same gamertag across all Xbox devices.
