Gamertag wipe

Discus and support Gamertag wipe in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So many grab all the gamertags and there are millions that aren't in use anymore.     Gamertag wipe


    So many grab all the gamertags and there are millions that aren't in use anymore. Why not take those back and release them again. Allow us to pay for 1 year of 5 years of that gamertag. If a gamertag is offline for a certain amount of time, let it expire
    and give it to the gamers that are actually gaming. I can't get "Blueprint" and have to hear how I spelled it wrong. I'm sure many other users would love a great gt or have similiar wants? Gamertag wipe :)

    nope it is random and you are just going to have to wait 5 years or.be more creative

    Keep.in mind not all accounts are xbox live they can be windows 10 or Skype or forums only

    Hello i was wondering maby if you could wipe/reset peoples gamertags who have been inavtive for over a month with 0 gamerscore or no gold membership, it would open a lot of good names that true players could and would use. Im just tired of looking up a
    really nice gamertag all just to be let down by an inactive acount with zero gamerscore. So i was wondering if you could wipe those inactive account gamertags.

    Starting in 2016, if a person doesn't sign into their account for 5 years, it will be freed up.

    I know of a gamertag that's being held, not used

    Microsoft did one Gamertag wipe in Xbox's history - let's hope for another.

    Unless they make an actual announcement about doing it, there's no way to know if/when gamertags will become available.

    No, there is not. If someone already owns it then it you will not be able to change your Gamertag to it even if it has no Xbox LIVE activity on it. Microsoft did a manual wipe of inactive Gamertags last year, but due to people selling them, they stopped
    it. I am not sure if they will ever do this again but I would keep an eye on the inactive Gamertag and on MajorNelson.com
    incase it ever becomes free or another wipe occurs.
