Gamertag unsearchable on Xbox One, but I can search it on PC

I've had my gamertag for a pretty long time and it is one of the originals setup on the 360 back in the day. Yesterday I told someone to look me up by my gamertag and they said they couldn't find me. No matter how many times others try to search for my
gamertag no one can find it while using their Xbox One.

I've tried checking my privacy settings and changed it from custom to Adult on the Xbox One console. I also checked all of the settings in a Web Browser on my PC and verified I should be visible.

Then I changed my gamer pic and added information to my Bio and Location settings in my profile hoping that would bump the account and cause it to refresh, but it hasn't helped.

I setup a different account on my Xbox One using another E-mail address and I can search for that gamertag from my main account, but that account cannot find my main account when searching from the Xbox One consoles (I have two consoles and can't search
for my main on either).

I'm guessing my next step is to contact support, but wanted to post here first in case I'm missing something simple.

Note: I do not want to change, or attempt to change and change back, my gamertag to try and fix it that way.

My Xbox updated this week, but I still cannot search for my gamer tag so it must not have been this firmware update. Also, apparently Microsoft never even created a case for me either. This is Frustrating...

Hey, I also have the same problem! I have contacted multiple support agents and most of them said it will be fixed on the next firmware update or when everything goes back to normal.

I called support on Monday afternoon. The first call lasted 40 minutes before they placed me on hold and then disconnected the call. I got back in the queue and waited 20 minutes to get a call back. This time I was on the call for an hour and 32 minutes
before agreeing to end the call. The support guy said he had never seen anything like this before, so he needed to research and possibly escalate my case. He said I would receive an E-mail with the case information, but that has not arrived yet. It has
been more than a whole business day and still no E-mail.

The issue is that my gamertag is not searchable on the Xbox platform. You can find it searching on PC, but on the Xbox when you go to "Find Someone" you cannot search my gamertag. After you enter the first 7 characters it says "No results" under where
it says "Everyone On Xbox".

Any ideas?

Sounds like you did all the trouble shooting tips I would recommend. Next step would be to contact support at beta.support.xbox.com. Hope that helps!

Hey, i have a problem, my gamertag Iiio can't show up when i search it, instead this inactive account called iiio shows up? I kind of need this fixed because i made my gamertag with a main intention if it to be searched.

Gamertaga arent an ondemand service you are just going to have to wait or accept an suffix
