Gamertag still hasn’t updated after i paid for it

i paid to change my gamertag over 48 hours ago on my console & it’s still not updated. does anyone know when/if it will even change? i’ve tried changing it on xbox.com as well & get all the way to the last confirmation screen and it absolutely will not go through no matter how many times i hit confirm. i have tried this multiple times as well.

Please confirm on your account order history from https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ if your gamertag payment has been completed already.

If so, try to re-claim your gamertag using a different device or internet browser. You could also browse in incognito mode and use this link https://social.xbox.com/ChangeGamerTag

So why does it appear that he doesn’t have any sort of subscription when I paid for a 12Month one? Surely that one I paid for should still be active but it is showing that he hasn’t got anything.

and don't wonder if ithows the new Gt and next time you log in it shows the old again or both(!).

That could all happen during that week depending on what server you are playing ! ^^

Thank you for posting on the Xbox Communities Forum. It can take up to a week for your gamertag change to take effect across all Xbox services. It will usually take effect after a few hours or a couple of days, but I advise allowing up to a week for the change to complete.

3. Select your gamertag and press A to edit it.
