Gamertag. Stick or swap?

After I changed the first time there was no stopping me. I probably swapped ten times by now lol. is definitely staying around for a while now

I have only had two gamertags and I still own both. The one when I first started with the original Xbox. When I got my Xbox One I decided to start over completely so I created a new tag/account. I play on the latter one most but I do still sometimes
play on the old one just to keep it active.

I only change mine once I outgrow it. I've changed it once so far and plan to change it once the new gamertag system is available, as well.

No I have not changed mine since 10 years ago I started playing Xbox 😊

I've already had 3 GT, I avoid changing because I understand your case and I've been through it, thinking "who will this person be?"
In the case when I changed, I warned all the friends with whom I play more frequently.

I changed mine once when I got out of highschool due to the fact that I used a nickname that I didn't get for good behaviour 😂😂 but I would agree that I have deleted some good friends just wondering who the new name is
