    Gamertag seemed to be changed with reset and cant access original one.


    I had to do a reset on my kids XBox One, the problem is that when I resigned in my original Gamertag was replaced with a new one as if a brand new account was created. All game progress and purchased games on that account has gone. If i search the original
    gamertag through another account on the Xbox I can find it. How do I access that Gamertag again???

    Yes I have but it has generated a new gamertag for some reason
    So when you use the same email that you previously used, that had a specific gamertag, it did let you log in with that email and password, but then showed a different gamertag? That's very strange indeed and should not have changed the gamertag unless it
    was against Code of Conduct in some way (offensive etc). Have you tried checking the email that you use to log in with that account, to see if you got an email regarding a gamertag change from Microsoft?

    Not directly, without having their profile downloaded on the console already and without signing into those accounts .
