Gamertag reseat disappointment

As you are aware during May 2016 Microsoft reset 1 million + gamertags for us to take for our own personal desired gamertags.

Sadly, many of us where unable to obtain the name we wanted due to people making fresh accounts and trying to sell them on to whom wants it the most, which is not only against the rules but very disappointing to the ones who couldn’t get there’s.

I personally think that those accounts who haven’t been signed into within a year(or 2) should have it reset. Perhaps another reset should come along.

I have spent hundreds changing my gamertag only to find that I don’t even like it. As many others also have.

What do you all think? Do you agree or disagree?

Unplug replug all cables and reseat the HDD. Also try installing the game to the hard drive.

 

Tekken 6 does not work

Do you delete before redownloading?

Cleared the marketplace cache?

System cache?

Reseat harddrive and try downloading again?

 

If an account is not signed in after 5 years the account is closed and the gamertag is recycled.

Now keep in mind that the accounts are used for more then just xbox also.

So if an account is signed in on say a windows 10 PC then that would constitute the account still being in use.

 

It's highly unlikely there'll be another mass reset due to the reason you mentioned,people claiming gamertags in order to sell them.

Yes it is against the rules & wont end well for the seller or the buyer but that didn't stop people from doing it so that's why the 5 year rule was introduced.
