Dear support,

Back in 2011 I had a temporary Microsoft live account where I have register my Nokia Lumia 800 and created Xbox Live Gamertag. I have deleted it long time ago - ~10 year ago. Unfortunately, my previous Gamertag still alive on Xbox Cloud. I am able to find my previous gamertag. Is it possible somehow to delete it from logs, so I could use it again for my existing account, which I have since then?

You would.have to login and change the name to free it up

Then wait bit then try for the name

I am afraid that it's not possible. It is because the support don't have full access to our accounts due to our account safety and security. They can't just delete the account on their own since everything is being managed by the system. Our best option is to wait until the account gets completely removed from the system or if the system recycles old gamertags and will allow you to claim it back.

Basically, I do not have any access to my previous e-mail anymore, since account it was deleted many years ago. There is no chance to change name in this case. I have been waiting since 2011 to get new access to my previous gamertag. What I should do? How long I shall wait still?
