Gamertag prohibited word

Hello! So, knowing about the gamepass and all, I decided to update my old account, which I created some time ago... Seeing how my gamertag was, I wanted to change it to one I'm using currently, but it seens that the word "chub" and variations are banned
from the nickname service.

I wanted to ask why, since I used it as a form of self affirmation and what whas the problem with the word.

(The word in question is "Chubby")

Also, I appologize for my bad english, I'm not a native speaker.

Because that word has in the past for many decades been associated with fat shaming, bullying and other unpleasant behaviour that has impacted the self esteem of many people in their lives (gamers and non-gamers). I can see why it isn’t allowed as it could
be deemed offensive and inappropriate.

I wanted to use it almost as the LGBT community adopted the word "queer" as something not so bad, but I guess I'll just have to agree with a new nickname. Anyway, thanks for the answers!

Chubby is usually a word used to bully someone about their weight. That's probably why the word is not allowed.

If you type in the gamertag you want and it just loops right back to the main list-chances are that gamertag has a prohibited word or phrase in it.

What is the gamertag you are trying to change it to?
