    Gamertag processing error


    I'm trying to change my son's gamertag and I've already added the funds to his account to do so. When I try to change the tag it says "we're having trouble processing your payment and would like to get it sorted out". I've tried a number of times, all failed.
    I've tried logging out completely, clearing cache and site data, trying different browsers, etc. Any ideas?

    Maybe it's something dealing with his bank account on his side. Transactions may have been in a issue due to the pandemic

    Have you made sure that the payment option is on the correct payment option?

    This may be an issue with your bank, since this happened to me. It gets charged to Seattle. You may want to check with your bank, credit, or debit card provider!

    If you can't seem to figure out the issue you could always try going to a retail store and purchasing an Xbox card which would also work if he's changing his gamer tag.
