Gamertag not taken but i cant have it

Discus and support Gamertag not taken but i cant have it in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I've checked on xbox and on gamertag checkers for the name 26 and no one has it, but when i enter it, it shows the hashtag and the numbers.     Are you trying to change your gamertag? if so, Does it say that the gamertag is invalid?

    When i search for 26 in the find someone tab no one comes up but then when i enter the name to change my gamertag it shows the hashtag

    Some Gamertags can't be found if you look for them since the person that has that gamertag has his privacy configured to not be found if someone looks for it

    Or you haven't tried the millions of different combinations

    When searching for a name you need to be exact

    When changing a name it has to be unique

    So gamertag is the same as GamerTag or gamer tag
