    I have changed my gamertag several days ago and it still hasnt been updated on any platforms... I have tried logging in and out of my xbox account via the xbox windows app as well as through the game bar to no avail... Can i please have assistance?

    Hey there!

    Have you verified that the purchase was recognized by your account? You can do that through your
    Microsoft Account and verify the purchase under your order history. If it appears there, you may just need to remove the profile from your device, and then add it again.

    Oh my god, im so sorry, since I realised I was on an account that wasnt connected to the account which was on my game bar, I figured that when the gamebar redirected me to the gamertag change link, google must have already been logged into the other account
    when I changed my gamertag, so now that I am on the right account in the website, I was able to properly change my username. Im so sorry

    Hi, I realised that the account i used to post this thread was my other account which does not have the game I want my gamertag to change in, so this is my actual account. My gamertag wasnt a purchase, i used the first free name change you typically get,
    so that is probably why there is none of that in my order history.
