Gamertag namechange

Dear everyone,

My brothers and I recently wanted to change our Gamertags to Pjay, Ljay and Fjay. Ljay and Pjay and available to take. However, the name Fjay is not available for claim. It says 'This gamertag isn't allowed. Try a different one.'. I tried reaching out to the Microsoft Support about this and they cannot help me. They simply say that the name is not available for claim because it might have been reported before.

How would the name Fjay be reportable?

The Support only told me to write a Forumpost about this because they could not help me with the matter. This creates a feeling of helplessness within me. Something I have not experienced with a matter like this before.

So to make my question clear:
Why is the name Fjay not available as a gamertag? There are still people with the name fjay as their gamertag on Xbox so why would I not be allowed to take the name?

If the system does not accept this gamertag it will not be possible to use this gamertag and no one in the community will be able to help you with that. I recommend using another gamertag.

Hello again, unfortunately the system was designed this way, could tell you to contact the support that they would help you but they also can not as you may have noticed, the only solution is to create a Gamertag that is accepted by the system.

Hello, the fact that you can't use this Gamertag has nothing to do with the fact that it's already been used, if that's the case, you'd be able to use it with a suffix (#565560) some random number like that.

The truth is that the Microsoft system has a list of restricted names and that for some reason can not be used, most likely that in some other language this may sound phonetically against and offensive for the Microsoft's policy

There surely has to be a way to start a process of making a name available?

Or at least an explanation as to why THIS specific name is not available?

Someone surely has to be able to give a more precise answer to this?

How is this the only way? There is no explanation as to why this name is unavailable … how should I cope with this? Seriously I have a deep connection to this name.
