Discus and support Gamertag Limit in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I simply want to change the my gamertag to one that is more than 12 characters by 2 letters.     I simply want to change the my gamertag to one that is more than 12 characters by 2 letters. I've been a loyal customer for years and I don't think this is too much to ask. My username here is even different from xbox.

    Well no as it would break the system you are forgetting why it changed

    One people can have any name they want with a hash tag without a major update of the system

    Since it's is still 16 characters just 4 is reserved for hash tag if needed

    If not then it can't be used

    And you are still stuck with 12 you should've changed when you had a chance

    If you change it on a 360, you should still be able to use the old gamertag system and use more than 12 characters. Otherwise, there's no way around the limit.

    Community gamertag "www 360DF com" has hit the 100 friend limit. Hopefully this limitation is lifted in the future. Until then, this gamertag will function as our secondary community gamertag.
