Gamertag issues that nobody seems to understand how to fix

have an xbox one and an xbox 360, I paid money for a gamer tag change on the 360 and it updated everywhere excpet for xbox one menus. I have pictures attached to show what I mean. I have already contacted customer support and they gave me a half a**ed teouble
shooter response, Ive tried FB groups, Reddit, discord debug communities and nobody seems to be able to give an answer or a fix. I need someone who is smarter than me to at least tell me nothing can be done or give me like an actual real response.
is the gamertag it should be, the end pictures is what happens in the menus.

Ok So I am not the only customer experiencing this issue? I been experiencing this for 23 days & counting now & with all my efforts of countless phone calls & web chats there is zero resolution.

Now it is clear to me customer service is aware of all this but every attempt I have made to resolve this has been a total fail, apologizing for my negative experience & acting as if this is a unique one-of-a-kind sole problem. This isn't right that Microsoft
can charge us for a broken service. I mean if I did make a big stink about it with Discover they would force Microsoft to reimburse me but I do not want a refund, I simply want the gamertag I paid for. Simple

can take up to 72 hours for all services to change.

if after this time then the only people that can assist are support unfortunately.

Hi VillanMcKillin,

Thank you for contacting the forums. From my understanding, your old gamertag may appear to be the old one for awhile until your Xbox refreshes. When you view your profile, does it show your new gamertag or your old one? You may want try to manually delete
and redownload your profile from the Xbox.

PickleRick is the old gamertag that shows up in the menus. is the new one that I oaid for that shows up everywhere else.
