Gamertag issue in Sea of Thieves

We understand that you are trying to have an updated version of gamertag while playing Sea of Thieves with friends. Sometimes, it will take a while to see the change of your gamertag and sometimes power cycle of the device and restart of the game do the trick. However, if you are seeing an error message or code, please let us know so we can check on that further in details.

1. May we ask if you are and your friends on Xbox Console? Or PC?
   
2. When did this issue happened?

Having the same issue on sea of thieves

Sea of Thieves names can take some time to update after the gamertag they're conncected to has been changed. If your Sea of Thieves name doesn't update, maybe try looking at their support website at https://support.seaofthieves.com/hc/en-gb and
contact them if need be

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. Before I try to assist, I do have a few questions.

1) Are you playing Sea of Thieves on PC or Xbox?
2) When you previously played Sea of Thieves, was that also through Game Pass? Or was it purchased elsewhere?

3) When you originally played Sea of Thieves, was it through the same Gamertag that is now an active Game Pass subscriber?
