    Gamertag I possessed for years is now labeld inappropriate


    Unfortunaly my English is not the best. But I give it a try.

    My Gamertag was [Mod Removed] because my friends gave me the Nickname Jigga round abaout 15 years ago. The Gamertag
    [Mod Removed]was not available, so I added the three R’s. The Gamertag was labeld "inappropriate". I know, that the support or the forum can't help with this kind of issue, but I wanted to know if anybode encountered an similar "problem".

    In wich language is this Gamertag I had for over 10 years inappropriate? Please don’t tell me it is because it rhymed with a really inappropriate word with an “N“ at the beginning….. That would be very far-fetched.

    Anyone here encountered something like that?

    Forced Gamertag Change....

    I had my gamertag for at least 4 years and now it got forcefully changed 3 times in one night for no reason... I am not going to pay 9.99 for a name change when it wasn't even inappropriate. Need help ASAP

    Xbox Live Gold - How many Years of Service do you have?

    I have 7 years on this gamertag, but it's actually 11/12 years. Had a few problems back then due to my choice of gamertag being deemed inappropriate, they kept forcing it to be changed (to which I just used another variation) until somehow the account was
    blocked. Right at the beginning some of the gamertags were hilarious.

    Hi, having done a search, it appears in the urban dictionary as a racial slur. Someone will have reported it. Doesn't matter how long you have had the gamertag, if it is found to violate the code of conduct, it gets removed.

    Sorry but in the US it's a fairly common racial slur, you can try to appeal to enforcement but I would not count on any change.

    Sorry but in the US it's a fairly common racial slur, you can try to appeal to enforcement but I would not count on any change.

    If you did not have possession of that gamertag and it was available, it was not "stolen". Someone simply chose it and is now using it.
