    GAMERTAG FORCE CHANGE TO XBOX GENERATED


    My gamertag was force changed to xbox generated. When I contacted support, supervisor stated that there is a violation but could not give me any further details. This is a joke. Maybe a moderator or community rep. The gamertag is in no violation and enforcement website says there are no active violations.....

    GAMERTAG CHANGE

    The Xbox Policy Enforcement Team only issues forced Gamertag changes to Gamertags that violate the ToU and Code of Conduct. When a Forced Gamertag Change is issued, your Gamertag is converted to a randomly generated tag. I'd recommend just gathering up
    the $9.99 and paying for a change, since your Gamertag does not seem to be in violation of the rules, and I do not foresee a Forced Gamertag Change being issued for it.

    To further verify, we may ask if there is an enforcement action on the account? If there is no enforcement action on the account then we should wait 24-48 hours for it to appear and should check the email of the MSA and look for a notification about the action. You may check on this link enforcement.xbox.com. They are our Xbox Safety Team who manage enforcement actions.

    I'm afraid there are no free gamertag changes, so if you get a forced gamertag change you will get a new auto generated gamertag, if you want to change that one it will be a paid change.

    If a player is unhappy with the assigned Gamertag and wishes to change it, he or she may purchase a new Gamertag through the
