Gamertag doesnt really change

Hey guys,

i bought yesterday here in germany an xbox one s all digital. I created a gamertag named Bilo0498

but i wanted to change it to .

on xbox is he showing me as Bilo0498 and in games like cod mw 2019 also showing Bilo0498 but in xbox profil it shows 2 gamertags. I already deleted profil from xbox and connected it again.

In xbox profil it shows

Bilo0498

when i clicked to change the gamertag in xbox it says is available and then he ask for 9,99$

please help!

Hey! I'm actually just trying to change the caps in my GT {DUBTREE} to lower case. Is that possible to just edit the spelling without having to pay another $10?

each GT change comes at a cost (the first one is usually free), remember that in the list your advances and games that you buy in digital, if you want another profile with a new name you can create another account but this will no longer have the same
games , advances and subscriptions even if you are the same person, if you have already made gt change it may take up to be reflected in your account or 48 hrs in what the system is updated

Hi, the situation is normal and if you have succesfully changed your gamertag the old one will disappear in few days/weeks.

They keep the old gamertag for a period in order to keep you recognizable by your friends.

I already change the gamertag, but in xbox mobile app. Its been now 24hour i changed. I will wait 24h, thanks.

Doesnt really make much difference to anything really. Would prefer it when people change their gamertags that it says on the friends list for a few weeks so can get used to whos changed it.
