Gamertag didnt change even though it said the transaction was complete

My gamertag is and i recently found out you can have a classic gamer tag option that will show up in games that allows it. So I made my name again then I went to classic Gamertag and made it the name I wanted and it said it was all
good. for App and something else and the gamertag I picked will show up in game. Sweet right? Wrong. First an error happened no biggie so i made my gamer tag again and what not and it went through and i was charged. Thing is, i dont got the new classic
gamer tag. I basically paid for my current GamerTag again. I even checked with my friend if my classic gamertag is under my Xbox App one and he said no. I would love a refund so i can do this again or something.

Never mind i reread the classic gamertag thing and it dont work for xbox one in layman’s terms . Well i feel dumb. If a refund is possible if like one but if not thats okay too i guess....

Everything , even edge is behind a pin. Evidently changing a gamertag is not. I still can go through the whole process including paying for it without ever having to put my pin in. Even though transactions specifically are behind the pin.

This is for if you didnt initially choose your gamertag and it was autogenerated when your account was made. Which all accounts are. If you didnt change your gamertag initially youd have a gamertag to this affect: sillyfawn74747. Or something similar. Your
gamertag right now is one that would have been chosen by you. So that being said you have already used your free name change and as such would have to pay the $10 to change it again.

@Genchy - All those games you mentioned are great games, I completely agree. It's not like the industry is completely changing, it's more like a certain business or 2 just love the DLC and micro transactions that actually complete the game. Even with these
thoughts I'm part of the problem, I bought Battlefront though it was heavily discounted. It's not bad, it's just very minimal in content, more than destiny.
