    Gamertag change


    2 days ago I changed my gamertag and payed for it, now 48 hours later it still shows the old name!

    Xbox one followers privacy/spam concerns. END IT

    Even if you change your Gamertag, you purchases and saves are still locked to your account. I could change my gamertag right now and I still have everything. It stays with the email address you signed up with, not gamertag.

    Need your opinion about a couple of gamer profiles

    It cost 800 Microsoft Points to change a gamertag, $10. Change your gamertag of the one you like to something else, and then change the other one to the gamertag you like. $20 investment and your playing on the gamertag you want to play on, and you have the achievements to show off your progression of games.

    Hi

    Can you first please try a full console restart to see if this will cause the gamertag change to show, after this can you next try

    removing your profile     from the console carry out a full console restart and then re load your profile. After trying the two items above if your gamertag has not changed can you try checking your

    order history     to make sure the transaction went through.

    Im using the xbox app on windows, i tried logging out and logging back in and that didn't help. I also checked my order history and I can see the transaction there.

    It did this to my son also. He just had to go back to edit it again once there it just auto changed and it never double charged him. He just cancelled out and it was fixed. I don't know if this will help or not but it helped him so i thought maybe you
    could give it a try.

    Hi there,

    I'm afraid there are no free gamertag changes, if a gamertag was deemed to break the CoC/ToU then you will given a generated one and if you want to change the gamertag into something chosen by yourself it will have the fee like any gamertag change.
