Gamertag change not updating

I purchased a gamertag change a few months ago and it has still not updated on majority of the apps and games. It only shows the new gamertag when I go to my account details on the website, when viewing my profile on a webpage, and in Sea of Thieves. That's it. Everywhere else it still shows my old one. Does anyone know how to fix this or is there anyone from Microsoft who can force update it?

Edit: I did also update the gamertag for how it shows on older games and apps so that's not the issue

If you haven't changed your Gamertag for a while(since the whole new Gamertag update) then you can change It for free but after you need to pay $10.

Then, follow these steps:

Type in your query: "Agent"

Click on Get Help.

Scroll down the page and click on Contact Support.

Select your "Other Products" and "Billing and Account Profile Questions" > Confirm.

Select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" > Confirm > Start Chat.

No, unfortunately this would not update your gamertag, In order to update it you would have to manually edit the gamertag.

There was recently an update to the gamertag system (https://support.xbox.com/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/gamertag-updates-faq)
and you can get a free change if you change your tag at https://social.xbox.com/changegamertag

Gamertags has been updated - all new players or those who wish to changed gamertags will now have a n auto generated suffix at the end of their new gamertags. Old gamertags that hasn't been changed are not affected.
