    Gamertag change not updating on android app


    Hi. I've just set up a series x today and signed in on my old 360 account. I've changed my gamertag on my console but the app still shows my original tag. When I sign out and resign in it shows my new gamertag for a few seconds but then reverts back to my old one. Any help as to why? My console still shows my new tag.

    Sorry for the trouble, Andrew. If the same issue occurs but we have confirmed that everything is working on your account itself, it means that it's the app and let's wait for a couple of hours more to wait for the app to fully sync.

    In the meantime, you can try adding friends via https://account.xbox.com/profile.

    Indeed, have you tried on the Xbox Game Pass App?

    On your Xbox App, please make sure that you're signed in under the correct Microsoft account.

    That's odd, do you have an Xbox Game Pass App? If yes, can you please try from there? Check if there will be an improvement.

    Please check via https://acount.xbox.com/profile and let me know if it's showing correctly from there.

    Thanks. I tried that. And again when I reinstall the app after clearing cache the gamertag shows the new tag for a few seconds then reverts back to my old tag?

    I've tried the app on a tablet and the same thing happened there too. I'll wait until tomorrow to see if the app updates
