Gamertag change back in October 2019 - Still not changed

Hi AngelObullet, I tried that yesterday and unfortunately it still shows my old gamertag

The new Gamertag I paid for doesn't have any numbers in either, it's just all letters.

Hello, this is a very long time that your gamertag has not been changed!! Doe it show up anywhere changed like through xbox app or through microsoft/xbox.com??? I would call in and speak with a rep about this matter. You also need to look through your
microsoft billing to make sure you can see and have proof of the gamertag change purchase. What was the name you were trying to use? Was the name used then banned because it was inappropriate?

Can you try re downloading your gamer tag on your xbox 360?. And if the new gamertag features (#0000) Those numbers might not appear on the xbox 360.

It doesn't show up anywhere that I can see. I only have my old 360 console. But I set that up and re-downloaded my profile and it's still showing as . Logging into the Xbox (Beta) app, Microsoft.com or Xbox.com all show no change.

I have checked my billing and I can see the charge of £7.99 back in October marked as completed. I checked my bank statement for the same month and see it came out of my bank too. It just never changed!

There's nothing inappropriate about the new Gamertag either

I've tried searching for a phone number to call on the contact, but I can't seem to find one. Not sure if it's because it's limited with COVID-19 and all.

Xbox made changes to gamertags on November 2019, if you had your gamertag before November 2019 you get one free gamertag change, any changes made after cost $9.99 usd. You can use a max of 12 characters for your gamertag.
