Hi,

First impressions are really important, and when I meet strangers online they'll see me and acknowledge me as my deadname, this makes it really hard to make friends who refer to me by my chosen name. As well as that, intentionally or not, I constantly get deadnamed by both friends and strangers due to my old gamertag containing my deadname. I find it extremely difficult to get motivation to log on and play because of this.

Would really appreciate it if I could get my gamertag changed since I can't really afford paying for it.

Has nothing to do with trans rights. If they made an exception for you theyd have to make an exception for everyone which they just arent gonna do.

If they make an exception for trans people then you'd get an influx of people saying they are trans just to get a free name change & the system would get abused like crazy like it was years ago when you got a free name change if the enforcement team changed your gamertag for violating the rules.

If you want to change your gamertag then you'll have to pay the small fee just like everyone else has to.

There's no way to request a free change. You'll have to pay of you want to change it.

no freebies, does not matter what ethnicity, religion or any other things, everybody is treated equally and therefore everybody pays. you get one free name change which has been used.
