    One thing i think xbox should allow is being able to change the capitalization of your gamertag without having to change your gamertag completely and then paying to change it back to the gamertag you had with the capitalization that you wanted, i find that completely unnecessary. we basically need to pay double just to change the capitalization of our gamertags and that's just ridiculous if you ask me. i just hope one of the devs see this and implement it into the gamertag system.

    thank you for your answers.

    I know that gamertag is case and space insensitive ,It’s simply a cosmetical issue. I don’t know why something as simple as this is so difficult for Microsoft.

    Capitalization and spaces in gamertags do not make a difference for instance Jos Vls would be the same as josvls

    Actually you would have to pay twice as the system doesn't recognize the difference between capital letters & lower case ones.

    You would need to change your tag to something else first then change it again to the one you have now but with lower case letters in it.

    When you change a gamertag, it frees it up for use in the system. So it won't block it for being used before, but the system may not free it up immediately. I've heard anywhere from 24 hours to 45 days. So you may not be able to change it back right away.

    You would have to change your tag to something else and then change it back in order to capitalize the letter.
