Gamertag automatically changed

Hi,

I recently changed my phone from Lumia 520 to Nokia 3 after my Lumia bricked. I used to play Age of Empires:Castle Siege on my Lumia and Xbox had given me my gamertag "Player056505407". After downloading AoE:CS on my new phone (android) I signed in
with my old email ID (I repeat old ID as I have checked many times) but my gamertag was changed to
. Due to the change in gamertag I lost all my gamerscore and most impotantly my progress in AoE:CS as they are identifying me as new player and giving me a new castle. I have logged in to check in Xbox.com but it is changed there too. I also
tried changing to my old tag but the site throws me an error that the tag is already taken.

I really need to get my tag back. Once again I repeat I'm using my only MS account credentials.

Thanks for the reply! Sounds like you've taken the right step in requesting a Case Review with the Enforcement team.
Should the Gamertag change be upheld, and you are unhappy with the assigned Gamertag and wish to change it, one may purchase a new Gamertag through the standard Gamertag change process as our Ambassadors have indicated. However, the
Gamertag that received the forced change will remain unobtainable. I recommend taking a look at our Enforcement site's tips for creating a Gamertag for future use should you need it: https://enforcement.xbox.com/home/staysafe#topic9.

It should be returned to normal in about a week because the gamertag isnt exactly an offensive one

Well, I suggest talking to support and checking the Xbox Enforcement website, so you will know exactly what happened, whether it was a mistake or a punishment.

I've seen this happen to some people, but their gamertags are back to normal, I don't remember how much time passed, but it didn't last more than a week.

{Parity}

The people in the forums are gamers just like you not engineers. Sounds like someone may have changed it for you. Does anyone have access to your account information? If so you may want to see if they may have changed it.
