Gamerscore Comma…

So, last night I discovered that my gamerscore now displays a comma. As in, if it were originally “100000”, it now reads as “100,000”. I’m sure I’ll get some eye rolls for this but my question is this: is there a way to remove this feature? I think it looks kinda tacky. Or at the very least, perhaps the ability to toggle it on/off depending on personal preference?

I read that this is part of a new update and that people had been asking for a comma, but it’s seriously such an annoying little thing for me that I felt the need to say something. Instead of reading similar to an odometer and feeling like I’m getting a mileage count out of my games, it now looks like an arcade or pinball hi-score. It looks less like a symbol of personal accomplishment now.

Just my opinion. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Understood. I just think functionally, it serves very little purpose. I have no difficulty reading long strings of numbers, but it seems like Xbox wants to dumb down the experience for everyone. I feel like it insinuates that I’m not intelligent enough to read numbers greater than 3-5 digits. It’s mostly an aesthetic thing for me, to be honest.

Hello again, usually this type of change is suggested in insider groups and a kind of Uservoice that Xbox has, but Microsoft does not disclose numbers, but if it appeared in Insider the probability if it becomes permanent is great

I doubt that you can turn it off. The improved legibility will be appreciated by most people.

No one is saying that you can't read long numbers. But surely you can agree that 1,225,345 is easier to read at a glance than 1225345?
