    Hello all, I would like to know if I type a gamer tag that is taken and use that, the numbers at the end will be shown in game or is it just the word like in discord because I don’t want to spend £10 on a name when it is going to have numbers. PS I would like the name to be cyclonez or cyclone with numbers.

    the only way to get a new gamer tag without numbers is if nobody else has the same tag when you go to change gamer tag it will tell you if its available without the # and numbers hope this helps

    The only way to avoid the number/suffix after your gamer tag is to pick an unique one. The number indicates that there is someone else with that gamer tag and it helps others to distinguish between the players.

    As mentioned you will have to come up with an original.name
