Gamer tag change it has and ain’t

Either way there all taken but when you search for them the player doesn’t exist... Microsoft should clean up unused tags that ain’t been active for a few years. The new gamer tag system with numbers after is messy.

the free gamer tag change was only allowed when your gamer tag change was forced. People abused this by reporting gamer tags that people wanted to change so once a force change was made they then changed it again to what they wanted for free. Because
of that abuse of the system all game tag changes now cost even if a force change has happened.

I don't think changing your gamer tag to your personal name is a good idea.

However, Microsoft has been buggy since the gamer tag multiple change feature has been available.

Nothing to worry about Try again later or switch the gamer tag characters around.
