    Your Activision account may have been linked to his PlayStation Network account as well, Joey.

    In this case, you may need to check options with Activision such as unlinking your account but you may encounter an issue that's why it would be best to reach out to them.

    Sorry when I say the same account I mean the exact same Gamer Tag.

    So in the same game lobby in Call of Duty WWII I played on the same team.

    I took a screenshot of the game lobby to prove it.

    I have double checked it over and over.

    And if I look up my gamer tag it is showing my old avatar and not my new one. And it had the majority of my gamer points 12,303.

    On my new console my gamer tag shows 300 odd gamer points.

    I got the same error on my son's account, said the gamer tag name was available. Now it says I need to pay $9.95 to change.??? Still the same name he was assigned 😡

    It is not the first time the gamer tag was changed. It was my account tried to change it to my sons with his gamer tag not mine.
