gamer pic reports turn into instant ban despite not violating any rules, and its getting abused

I went thru this myself only i was banned for the day and now I can't change my profile picture ever, how is it that this issue has been going on for year and it has yet to be fixed, does there need to be some sort of lawsu6vs Xbox on allowing people's to ban folks long standing accounts because they lost at a game???

yes it does but be aware it is not instant that they get enforcement taken on them the enforcement team gets TONS of reports they have to go through and investigate each one. if they have violated any rules they will take the appropriate action, if they
find that there is no rule violation then there will be none.

No, you will not get banned for using another countries gamer pics, as its not really infringing upon any patent issues or region locked content. It might be exclusive to a region, but its a picture so just like taking a picture using the Vision camera
of Mario and having that as your gamer pic, will not get you banned on live. Now if its a naked person, then yes, you will violate the Code of Conduct and will be banned.

If you continually switch regions to access content from other countries, that might end up raising a few red flags

It’s a permanent suspension and I haven’t done anything in violation severe enough to be banned that’s for sure. Comms ban sure. Some people have excess of 5 comms bans with no permanent suspension. So it’s not abusing the system when a group of gamers come together to report one person to get them removed from a game because I wasn’t “going with the flow” of what they wanted? The system is dumb. If they look at all your messages why don’t they look at who messaged first and who violated the terms FIRST in the conversation? If the person sending the report violated the terms of agreement their whole report should be NULL. That way you can’t have bully’s report victims and get them perma banned. The whole ban system needs a rework. They aren’t showing why I got permanently suspended either when my other comms ban has the reason. Also, my other comms ban was for a typo, nice.

They don't look at who messaged first because ultimately it doesnt matter. If they messaged you something against the rules and then you responded back with something that was also against the rules then both of you can be banned/suspended.

Thats why its best to just block and report the other played and not respond in these situations.

Reporting people just for the sake of it will only get you suspended again for abusing the reporting system.

Just because you have no problem with people being abusive to you doesn't mean everyone else is ok with it.

If you retaliate in a way that violates the ToU/CoC & are reported you will be suspended,to many suspensions will result in a permanent ban.

PSN does charge you to play online & the rules are exactly the same.
