Gamepass Virus?

There shouldn't be any viruses from any games on game pass. Chances are it is a false positive. Still wouldn't hurt to do a full virus scan, just to be sure.

I don't think I have any other Anti-virus than windows security. It's a shame that I don't have anything besides Gamepass so I can tes that hypothesis.

Same for me, page fault bsod or system exception. This is really frustrating, what did they do to break the app? I just went and did a reset, second one in a week. Not turning on the app until its stable, this thread clears up the cause and I may just cancel my gamepass until then to show my displeasure. So if anything, do not use the app on pc, that is the only course of action right now it seems.

If you can do a system restore do that. Then check to see if you have Patriot RGB or Patriot M.2 RGB installed. If so, remove that. Some RGB apps auto-install it. Once I did that I could install and play Gamepass games with Anti-Virus installed. The thing that worked for me first was un-installing anti-virus, but now I have my Anti-virus back on and I am able to play/install gamepass games (after I saw that POS Patriot RGB App in system->Apps on my computer. I do not have any Patriot RGB devices.

As the virus has spread so has gamepass and xbox live usage There is a great amount of usage so please be patient. Thats why xbox has dialed back profile pictures and certain downloads in peak hours. check this link for xbox status on core systems etc
