Gamepass Ultimate PC is asking me to join up even though I already have GP Ultimate through EE

this started on 27th Dec and has not worked today either, I have spoken to EE and they have referred me here as I am all paid up and confused why it is asking my to pay a subscription again

I have resorted to playing the free games on the epic games store instead of just collecting them

You're welcome and thank you so much for the detailed information. To clarify, it's not showing on your subscription tab or it's not showing as "active"?

Hi Matthew, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Can you please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services and from there make sure to validate the status of your subscription, it should be "active" and once confirmed, please check the Microsoft account that you have on the top right corner and take note of that.

Once you have it, sign out both on Microsoft Store App as well as Xbox App and then sign back in using the Microsoft email address that you have.

The subscription is not showing as active, despite me having paid it to EE.

I have tried your steps but it unfortunately made no difference

I suspect it is a communications breakdown between Xbox and EE that I am stuck in the middle of
