GamePass Ultimate - do I need 2 subscriptions?

I suggest you to run the Game Pass Ultimate subscription through the Microsoft account which you use on PC and then set the Xbox as your home console so your family/friends can enjoy the benefits of the subscription (with the exception of Cloud Gaming) without having to pay twice.

To set the home console sign in with the account from your PC and head to Settings > General > Personalization > Home Console > Make This My Home Console.

After you are done you can also remove the account if you do not play on the console in Settings > Accounts > Remove accounts.

Just a friendly reminder though that you can only share a subscription as well as games on the Xbox console through the Home Xbox feature. On PC there is no option to share the subscription which is why you need to use the account that has an active subscription on your PC or purchase your own subscription.

Hmm that's interesting. I just took a look at my subscriptions and under my active subscriptions, I have Xbox GamePass Ultimate, which combines the two.

If you don't want to be paying double, maybe consider upgrading to GamePass Ultimate and using that $2 offer to upgrade.

Since you have Gamepass ultimate, that means you already have access to Xbox live gold, Gamepass for console and Gamepass for PC. To utilize the PC subscription, you just need to be signed into the same Microsoft account that owns the ultimate subscription.

If "The Neighbourhood" is a online multiplayer mode, you need to have an active Gamepass Core or Gamepass Ultimate subscription to play online. It does not matter where you bought the game from, all paid games on Xbox require a Gamepass subscription to play online. Free to play games do not require a subscription to play online.
