GamePass sharing in same household needs some adjustments

Family plans are in the works, but will still not allow you to share your games

One thing you need to understand, you've purchased the right to run one copy of the game at a time and publishers can block more than one user from doing so at a time

You purchased a license to run one instance of the game at a time. Publishers can block you doing so, like Call of Duty does, This used to be handled by requiring you to have the disc in, one disc, one license..

You need to set your other family member's home Xbox to a single console, then you won't have to log in again. Subscriptions will be shared across accounts, but some games and services like cloud are restricted to the primary account

Pretty sure they canceled the family sharing plan idea. And I'm specifically referring to GamePass. Not purchased license for games.

PlayStation also has a similar feature and doesn't have these obstacles.

there is but i won't say if you are sharing outside of your household, sharing is simple on pc including gamepass pc but it is better to be in the same household even if it is multiple pc's.

they lock it as it would get abused beyond belief, it gets abused now but open those flood gates and everyone will be sharing games to all. i have 6 xbox ones in my house and i have three lots of gamepass and games. this is how it is and will be until
they find a way of people sharing in the same household and not all over the place.
