Gamepass Reinstalling Games

Hi there!

A simple issue, that I hope someone has the fix!

I play xbox gamepass on PC.

In the past, I have an issue, but can get over it by doing this:

1. It says, "Check the Windows Store for more info about Hades (the game I'm trying to play)."

2. I click Windows Store

3. I click Reinstall

4. It takes 2 seconds to reinstall

5. Game can be played

However, now this happens:

1. It says, "Check the Windows Store for more info about Hades (the game I'm trying to play)."

2. I click Windows Store

3. I click Reinstall

4. It takes me back to gamepass where there is no option to reinstall

5. I am stuck and the game cannot be loaded.

Would appreciate any help!

Hi, my name is Fernando and I am an independent consultant for Microsoft products.

Let's try the following:

1. Press the Windows + R keys.
2. Type in the Run window: wsreset.exe
3. Click OK.
This should normalize the behavior of the Store.

If the issue persist:

Open the Command Prompt as an administrator by pressing the Windows + X keys and selecting the Command Prompt (Admin) option.
Copy and paste the command:

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.XML

If neither of those procedures works, try to restore your PC's OS via the ISO image tool, using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

Games are flagged with gamepass, a reinstallation usually clears it up

My question to you is have to tried to uninstall the game and then reinstall. Plus if it were from gamepass and you gamepass is over due, all gamepass games stop working all together.

You should reinstall the game, sometimes it doesn't get unflagged with GamePass

reinstall the game maybe it is due to an error because as you mention, it is also in gamepass
