    Deathloop wont launch for me on pc (gamepass/xbox app). It just shows the splash screen with a message 'signing in..' and a turning circle at the bottom that stays on screen forever. I had the same problem with a plague tale innocence recently when i tried to play that just before it got removed, i ended up playing that through my epicgames account without any problems.

    All other games run just fine (fh5/tinykin/grounded and more). They'll show a splash screen and it will show 'signin in..' for less then a second and change to 'launching..' and after that the game will launch.

    I have reinstalled the game and the xbox app mulitple times.

    Well to be fair that was not the solution he suggested.

    It was the last option I always had anyway, was just hoping i might be able to find out the 'real' solution. Might have been faster and is useful if it ever happens again. I think he also might be on the right track that it was somehow related to the identity provider app.

    In the end I just got fed up with it and decided to reinstall windows, but that decision was all on me.

    I think it's nice people are willing to spend their free time trying to help others, so no hard feelings :)

    Hi, don't worry. I was double checking that on my pc and I have 2 gaming services as well

    Now, do you have the game installed on a different drive? (Different to C:)
    If yes, can you try moving the game to C: drive to see if that does the trick?

    If not, try and double check this:

    Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

    Click Check for Updates;

    Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

    Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services and update everything too.

    Now, sign out from your account on both Xbox app and Microsoft Store and do this:

    Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that, click repair and then reset (or/and terminate if you can see the option)

    Then do the same for the Xbox app:

    Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that, click repair and then reset

    Finally do this:

    Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

    Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

    Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.

    Sign in again on both Microsoft store and Xbox app with your account and try again.

    If the issue persists, try the next:
    Press Windows + X, then click on Windows Powershell (Administrator)

    Then type or copy/paste this command and press enter:

    Get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider | Remove-AppxPackage

    Restart your PC and install the recently deleted app:

    Finally go to Windows Settings > Apps and Features > Xbox app > Reset and Repair, then restart your PC and give it a new try.

    "Try the following options for Windows 10/11:
    1. Go to Credential Manager (https://support.microsoft.com/windows/accessing...) > Windows Credentials (not the Web option), select XblGrts|DeviceKey and remove.

    2. Go to Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts. Select your account with the issue and verify that the ‘Apps need to ask me to use this account’ setting is enabled. This would especially help if you have multiple accounts as you would have the option to choose the correct account on startup, but you can always change it back to the automatic option if you prefer. You can also try to remove the account from here and re-add it later.

    3. Follow this file path: C:\Users\[Your Username]AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC\TokenBroker
    Delete the Accounts and Cache folders, which will be deleted from the Xbox Identity Provider

    Note that the highlighted code in this file path depends on your system so may vary.
    If you don’t see a particular folder, then confirm there’s no search filters applied and select ‘show hidden items’, or you can just search for the folder in the search bar.
    Restart your PC after trying the above steps, so that these properly take effect next time you sign in. It may also help to then reset and repair and/or uninstall and reinstall the Xbox apps where this error occurs."

    Hi, no luck yet.

    I already installed the game on another drive yes. It was on d: now on c: Same problem on both drives.

    I followed all your instruction including deleting the Xbox Identity Provider app through the powershell.

    I can't reinstall the app though. It doesn't show up in the windows store. If I follow your link and click the get in store button it opens the windows store but doesn't show anything or if I already have the windows store open it just activates the window but stays on the same page. If I search for Xbox Identity Provider in the store itself i can't find anything.

    So at the moment my xbox app doesn't work at all anymore (only a black screen with an xbox icon). Reinstalled the app itself but that didn't help.

    *edit*

    so i ended up reinstalling windows, that fixed all the problems. Xbox app launches again, first game i installed was deathloop and that launches now as well :)

    Thanks for the help. It didn't work unfortunately.

    What I did notice is that Gaming Services is running twice under services, i also couldn't change the startup type for these (greyed out) but it was already set to auto.

    Xbox Live Networking Service and Xbox Live Game Save were not set to auto, i could change those but Xbox Live Game Save is changed back to manual when i run services again (as admin).

    Also reinstalled Gaming Services, didn't get the blue notification but games no longer ran, after launching fh5 i was led to the Gaming Services page on the store. After reinstalling all games are working again except Deathloop.
